Winterbourne Parish Council: Meet the fourth Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in the Ron Burton Room of Winterbourne Glebe Hall, the next meeting is on 28th May, thereafter on 25th June and 23rd July. Parishioners are welcome to attend. There is currently one vacancy on the Parish Council, if you are interested in this role or have any concerns or something to report please contact the Parish Clerk on 07427 406943 or clerk-parishcouncil@thewinterbournes.org.uk.

Community Days: Meet on Saturdays 23rd May, 27th June and 25th July 9am to 12noon. Meet in the village playground carpark. Equipment provided. All ages welcome. Contact Nikki Palmer 07813 856159 or npalmer-parishcouncil@thewinterbournes.org.uk.

Our annual VILLAGE FETE is on Saturday 4th July, from 12.00noon to 3.00pm on the Glebe Field Band, Hog Roast, BBQ, Beer tent, Bottle Stall, a friendly Dog Show and much more. Please bring CASH although some card payments may be accepted. Contact revpeterbvt@gmail.com.

The Winterbournes Calendar 2027: We need your village photos for each month of the year. Please send to glebehall2026@btinternet.com by 31st October 2026. Contributors will be acknowledged and completed calendars sold in aid of Winterbourne Glebe Hall.

Jumble Sale: Saturday 13th June 2pm. Glebe Hall. Entrance 50p. Raffle, teas, squash & homemade cakes. Donations can be left from 9 to 11am on the day. No electricals.

Glebe Hall Drop in Café: May 13th, 27th, June 10th, 24th, July 8th, 22nd, August 12th, 26th 2pm to 4.30pm. Free IT advice available . Free Health Checks and Advice on June 10th.

Bourne Café: Saturdays 6th June, 11th July, 8th August 10 to 12 noon. Bourne Valley Methodist Church, Winterbourne Dauntsey.

Bourne Valley Link Scheme: Can you help? We always need new volunteers. Please contact Bourne Valley Link on 01980 611117 or Ruth on 01980 629792 for more information. New volunteers are supported to give their time in such a way that is flexible with other commitments and obligations. The work of the Link Scheme is invaluable and so appreciated by all who use it.

All meetings in the Glebe Hall at 7.30pm. Tuesday 2nd June from 7pm. Guided Historical visit in Winterbourne Earls. Bourne Valley Singers: Concert with Cream Tea Sunday 28th June at 2.30pm in the Glebe Hall Winterbourne Earls. Tickets £10:00 available from Isa at igauld2011@btinternet.com.

The Newbourne Players: The Newbourne Players love to welcome new faces. Acting on stage or behind the scenes - set design, painting, lighting, sound or costumes...come along and meet us at The Glebe Hall every Wednesday at 7.30pm to get involved. Beginners welcome. Club Friday: The Day Centre is held every Friday in Idmiston Memorial Hall, Porton from 10am to 2.30pm. Help needed on the day and also with transport. Volunteering is very flexible and very rewarding! Contact Niki Hetreed on 07789 318759.

St Mary’s, Winterbourne Gunner Services at 9.30am on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month; St Michael & All Angels, Winterbourne Earls Services at 11.00am on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month. ‘Church in the Aisle’ is an informal meet on the 1st Sunday of each month.

Petanque Club: We play at the Winterbourne Arms pub, usually on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons, or by arrangement with Sarah on 01980 619351. All ages are welcome to come and have a go. League matches are on Tuesday evenings, come and support your Home teams...!

Bourne Valley Scout Group: Meet on Tuesday evenings at the Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls. Cub Scouts 6.15-7.45pm, Figsbury Scouts 7.30- 9pm, Explorer Unit 7.45-9.30pm. Contact Shirley Moores Tel: 01980 611614, email shirleyamoores1953@gmail.com.

Winterbourne C of E Primary School: Children are taking part in the Archbishop’s Young Leaders’ Award and are looking for innovative ways in which we can serve the community. Dates of note: 17th June Sports Day; 20th July Leavers’ Service. Members of the community are always warmly invited to help listen to the pupils read. Please contact 01980 611356.

Winterbourne Cricket: The season is already underway with full fixture lists for our Youth and Senior teams. Thursday evenings see coaching for the 'All Stars and Dynamos' (ages 8 to 11) We have opportunities for all ages to become involved. Knit and Natter: 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, 7pm at the Winterbourne Arms.
